And the types of sharks that you can see in the waters are the Reef Sharks and whale sharks. Whereby the Reef sharks can be seen in the waters along the Zanzibar coast, this species of sharks is considered to be the harmless as they do not attack humans. 
- Meanwhile the whale sharks you may come across this species in the waters off the coast of Zanzibar and near Mafia Island. They feed on planktons etc and is not all dangerous.
